If memory serves me, only Black Sabbath, Paranoid and Master of Realty have been released from the original 8. Only the first three had a second disc with bonus tracks, sure, but the other five were released. They were released as 'Deluxe Editions?' I don't think so, unless I missed somthing major (which is possible). I know they were released, as I own them all a couple of times over. I must have typed my response poorly, as I meant the 'Deluxe Edition' version of the original 8, of which there are only the 3 I listed.

What does that mean? And Time Machine (Waynes World) is released on the album anyway.? It is on mine. Don't think I'll be buying this one. I do have to say that this isn't quite as interesting as I would have hoped. Time Machine's Wayne World version was already put on the Rules Of Hell Box set.Great to see Letter From The Earth on this though.

This had been on a B-side before. You also get five live tracks, all from single B-sides. This was a real coup for me, as I didn’t even know these existed before. I missed out on those singles.

I haven’t yet received the cover art, but if it goes by the rest of the series, it will be the cover art we know with the “Deluxe Edition” white band on it.:) It will be released on Feb 7, 2011, and is the last in the series for the moment (yeah, I know Born Again, more on that in a minute). It will be two discs, the first disc is the standard album we’ve known, and disc 2 is a mix of live tracks and a couple of B-Sides. It’s not available for pre-order yet that I’ve noticed, but I definitely wanted to bring you the press release as soon as I got it. More info as I get it. Thanks to HuffStuff from my forums, it is available for pre-order on Amazon UK’s site.

Black Sabbath and heavy metal as a whole were in big trouble around 1992. After a couple of mediocre studio albums, notably Headless Cross and TYR, Sabbath fell into the ' man, they were great way back when.' Speak as well as the state of metal after grunge came in and swept their depression-rock all over the music landscape. Outside of Metallica at the time, you didn't, or in a lot of cases couldn't, put out a metal album that would take much notice. Even metal vocalist great Ronnie James Dio couldn't catch a break, playing to 3000 seat venues after playing 30,000 ones less than a decade earlier. But at one of those smaller venues former Sabbath bass great Geezer Butler visited Ronnie at one of his shows, grabbed a bass, and the two played music together after ten years apart. After speaking to only original member left guitarist Tony Iommi about the experience, it was decided that it was time again to join forces and reclaim Black Sabbath Mark II.

• ' Released: 1992 • 'Master of Insanity' Released: 1992 Professional ratings Review scores Source Rating B+ Piercingmetal.com (3.75/5) Dehumanizer is the sixteenth studio album by English band, released in June 1992. It was Sabbath's first studio album in over a decade to feature vocalist and drummer, and their first in nine years to feature original bassist.
This incarnation of Sabbath ended when Dio's contract with the band ended several days before the Costa Mesa reunion shows in November 1992. According to Iommi, Dio quit because he was asked to support 's final shows at Costa Mesa, referring to Ozzy as a 'clown'.
It is just as important as the Dio-led 80's albums and needs to be heard in this remastered form. Worth every, single penny I paid for it, this is the Deluxe Edition of Sabbath I'll cherish the most. All Hail Black Sabbath!
Yeah, I was really hoping for those demos to be included in this release. And the instrumental (Raising Hell) as well. And then there's the one possibly called 'Caught in the Middle' which has vocals too. And it's a shame they won't be released, since all of them are quite good IMO. I don't understand whats so bad in releasing them, it would be a treat for the fans after all: hearing demo versions and rare cuts is always intriguing.

Apparently the song selection on the upcoming 2CD deluxe edition of Dehumanizer is decided, I just hope that Headless Cross and Tyr aren't skipped. I don't know if this is covered in another thread but I didn't find anyone so I decided to post it here. The songs on disc 2 will be 1.

And that result was Dehumanizer. With the original line-up that created the classic album Mob Rules, Dehumanizer retained that metal power while ditching Ronnie's trademark 'dungeon and dragons' lyrics with ones based upon the world of the early 90's, being the computer age 'dehumanizing' the people that created it. The album featured amazing Iommi riffs, Dio vocals still in top form, Geezer playing with new life, and drummer Vinny Appice once again laying down the doom & boom of his powerful drumming. It was hard to believe that at the time these guys had been already recording music for over twenty years because this reunion showed them with more strength and power than ever. Well produced and still to this day as fresh as the year it was created, Dehumanizer brought Sabbath back into the spotlight and clearly shown through amidst the grunge river of the 1990's. This reissue has got to be one of the best Black Sabbath Deluxe Editions out there. Where others have vocal-less versions of songs, some bad sounding live tracks, or a B-Side or two, Dehumanizer has 10 extra tracks, each worth your purchase.
Neon Knights (Live). * PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED Also it will be available on a gatefold limited edition 2LP vinyl, just like the three first deluxe editions. I am getting one of those for sure!
In addition, the set also includes five rare live tracks from Florida’s Sundome recorded at the beginning of the Dehumanizer tour in July 1992, including a previously unreleased live version of ‘Master Of Insanity’. The set includes liner notes from Metal Hammer’s Dom Lawson, based on new interviews with Tony Iommi. Tracklistings: Disc One (Original Album 1992) 1. Computer God 2.
Eh, not as great as I had hoped really. Ya know, I really do not understand what Iommi and Geezer are talking about when they say they have no unreleased original material. What about the other songs from the Dehumanizer sessions? You can find on Youtube, the alternate version of Letters From Earth, Bad Blood, and The Next Time. All the songs are fully recorded with vocals and all instruments included, just clean up the mix and whatnot a bit. Whatever though. I guess it's cool that the live tracks are included, but yeah, you can already find those and I already have those.
You run the numbers and you instantly know where you stand. It’s either black or white – Isn’t computer science great?
Not only do you get the alternate versions of both 'Time Machine' & 'Letters From Earth' (both of which I personally prefer over the ones that ended up on the album), but the single edit of 'Master Of Insanity', and what I would like to go into with detail, the 'Sundome' live tracks. You see, I've been a fan of Sabbath since I could remember, but by the time I was old enough to go to concerts, it was very hard to actually see them live. The Iommi-led version of Sabbath just didn't sell enough tickets to continue an American concert tour back in the late 80/early 90's. But when the reformed Dio-era/Dehumanizer tour was announced, I was ready.and so were the fans. The concert they performed in Tampa Florida (only their second USA show on the tour) was amazing, and they played like they were twenty-feet high.
I had to order it in from the States. A crucial slab of Sabbath that has now been given the appropriate treatment, same as Heaven And Hell and Mob Rules. Complete your collection.
I'm not sure what that Master Of Insanity version might be.Could be a demo. I was hoping for a more extensive Live catalogue.they did play 6 songs from Dehumanizer live, atleast some of those should have been included.but it is possible the label had no way to get those.there are all kinds of legal issues as we have talked about before. Time Machine is listed as a live version, which was not on the Rules of Hell, the studio version was on that release. Here in the US we have had the Wayne's World version since 1992, as it was on the US Dehumanizer release. I am going to get this, as I have all the other Dio (except Live Evil) and non Ozzy 'Deluxe Editions.' They all sound great.
Dio would not record or perform with the band again until 2006. For the two Costa Mesa shows, the band replaced Dio with frontman; on the second night, Iommi, Butler and original Sabbath drummer joined Osbourne onstage for four songs. Halford and Dio were friends (Dio having been impressed with Halford's work ethic on the 'Stars' project) and Halford would only do the Costa Mesa shows with Dio's blessing, which he received when he spoke with Dio by phone. Both shows were unofficially recorded in their entirety and are now widely circulated as audio and video bootlegs. Dehumanizer is included in the box set.
Maybe the remaining band members don't want them out there officially? But surely it would encourage the fans to buy the cd- that's the point of all this no? My double cd single of tv crimes got some kind of mould infection on it and was ruined, the only cd i've ever had infected like this. Probably still get this release just to replace those tracks.

According to the unofficial BLACK SABBATH web site, Universal/ Sanctuary has set a February 7 release date for the deluxe edition of BLACK SABBATH's 'Dehumanizer'. Originally issued in 1992, the LP was the first SABBATH effort to feature the vocals of the late, great Ronnie James Dio since 1981's 'Mob Rules'. With a lineup completed by founding members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, and drumming duties carried out by Vinny Appice, 'Dehumanizer' is arguably one of SABBATH's heaviest albums. This edition is expanded with the single edit of 'Master Of Insanity', an alternate version of 'Letters From Earth' that originally appeared as the B-side to the 'TV Crimes' single, and a version of 'Time Machine' originally recorded for the soundtrack to the movie 'Wayne's World'.
Dehumanizer is included in the box set. The album was rereleased on 7 February 2011. This version includes a bonus disc with alternate recordings of several songs ('Master of Insanity', 'Letters from Earth' and 'Time Machine', the latter of which is available on the US version of the album as a bonus track) and several other songs recorded on 25 July 1992 in Tampa, Florida.
We did keep in touch though and I went to some shows. Ronnie wasn’t too pleased, but eventually they had enough and asked me to rejoin again later so it felt like I hadn’t actually left. In fact, I was never formally fired; the phone just stopped ringing. ( singer, and another ex-Sabbath singer) asked me once if I had actually been fired and I said, 'No.' He said, 'Neither have I.' We should just turn up one day and walk on stage!'

As far as live songs go, they could be better. “Die Young” is a mere two minutes long (you can hear that it was about to merge into “Too Late” before the fade). Geoff Nicholl’s keyboards are mixed in too loudly. “Master of Insanity” is previously unreleased, and although unlisted it is actually a medley with “After All (The Dead)”. I’m glad that this brief era of Sabbath has been documented with some live songs, and Dio was in peak form back then. For some reason, I couldn’t get this from the Canadian Amazon site.
