The producers say they worked on 'Scottie Pippen' and seemingly confirm 'Carter V' tracklist. The hype is definitely there for 's upcoming album, Tha Carter V. The project was expected to release last night but, as you are well aware at this point,. We've been waiting for this album for years and even though it's still not here, we can stand to stay patient for a few extra days or weeks before it eventually arrives. A date was never officially announced from Wayne and the rumors were built off of pure speculation. While there is something brewing at the moment, we'll have to keep posted until an official sign comes along. It may be inching nearer though as producer duo Cool & Dre have seemingly confirmed the legitimacy of the tracklist that's being tossed around.

The album opens with “I Love You Dwayne”. It’s a short message from Wayne’s mother. She expresses her pride in her son and her own anticipation for Tha Carter V‘s release, and the more she speaks, the more she becomes overwhelmed with emotion.
The song was teased after Martin Shkreli was able to acquire the project in 2016 and the song was played on livestream. The song 'What About Me' originally featured Drake and was recorded in 2015. Post Malone was originally scheduled to be added to the song in the week before release, but didn't make to the album's initial release, possibly due to the verse not being finished. The song would later be placed in the album's bonus tracks. Tha Carter V was mastered by Colin Leonard at SING Mastering, and was mixed by Fabian Marasciullo.
